BILL is looking for a Senior SDET to join our Working Capital team.  This team supports various engineering teams within our Divvy product line, working primarily on test automation while also driving the teams towards best quality practices.  This individual will be responsible to help develop new automated tests, as well as enhance our existing tests and automation framework.  Additionally, this person will work with our broader, enterprise-wide SDET teams to build out new tools across this function and improve our overall quality approach/strategy as a company.

What you’ll be doing:

• Primarily work on automation and help team drive quality via good testing practices
• Collaborate with engineers, product and design to solidify and validate feature requirements (clear acceptance criteria, specifications, outcomes)
• Work with the engineering team to create and evangelize quality assurance practices
• Writing automated tests in Java/JavaScript/Elixir with appropriate tools like Selenium and Appium for web/mobile
• Contribute to testing framework design and implementation, optimize testing process and enable quality gating within the continuous delivery pipeline for the team’s deliverables
• Regularly write and complete manual tests, alongside automation, to verify new features, edge cases and detect regressions in old code

We’d love to chat if you have:

• 5+ years of professional experience working on a software development team (cross-functional environment preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience
• Experience writing your own automation framework or contributing heavily to one
• Experience designing, implementing and running automated tests in either Elixir, Javascript, Python or Java with a WebDriver-based framework 
• An innate ability to pick and ramp with new technologies/languages quickly
• Experience determining the cause of automated test failures
• Experience documenting and completing manual tests
• Experience writing release criteria and associated test plans
