Senior SDET - System Integration

The Senior SDET - System Integration will be joining a very talented and seasoned engineering team, with extensive backgrounds in building large-scale security platforms and building cutting-edge algorithms to slice and dice security data, revealing valuable insights to our customers. The engineer will be exposed to and have the opportunity to work with many new and exciting technologies and frameworks used in our security platform.

Responsibilities:

• Author automated scripts using 3rd party frameworks for testing our cloud native cyber security platform.
• Approach quality with a TDD model of automation first.
• Integrate automated tests into our build and release process.
• Collaborate with other engineers based in different geographies. 
• Providing testing insights and coming up with innovative solutions to improve and ensure the quality of our platform.
• Work closely with development, product management, and customer success to ensure delivery of a high-quality product.
• Provide regular updates to management as well as mentor more junior engineers on the team.

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of previous experience as an automation engineer or SDET required.
• Excellent experience with technologies like Robot Framework/Python, Postman/Newman, pytest, Jenkins.
• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks is a huge plus.
• Experience with cloud technologies like GCP or AWS.
• Hands on experience in troubleshooting Linux server environments.
• Experience with continuous integration tools like Github.
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• A BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of cyber security products is a big plus.
• Experience in testing Cyber security products.
• Previous Lead experience.

Base Pay Range: Bay Area Only

$140,000 - $175,000

• Range is reflective of base pay only
• Does not include variable pay
• Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
