Senior Security Architect

This role is a senior-level opportunity for a highly experienced security professional to define, drive, and evolve enterprise-wide security architecture across a complex global technology landscape. You will play a key role in shaping security strategy across cloud, on-premise, network, application, and data environments, ensuring alignment with business and compliance objectives. Acting as a global technical authority, you will collaborate with architecture, engineering, and leadership teams across multiple regions. The position requires strong decision-making in ambiguous environments and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. You will be responsible for designing resilient security frameworks, anticipating emerging threats, and guiding large-scale transformation initiatives. This is a high-impact role where strategic thinking meets hands-on technical leadership in a dynamic, enterprise-scale environment.

• Define and drive the enterprise security architecture strategy across cloud (Azure, AWS), on-premise infrastructure, applications, data, and network environments.
• Provide technical leadership across key domains including endpoint security, application security, network protection, firewalls, identity, and access management.
• Design, maintain, and evolve security architecture roadmaps, standards, patterns, and reference frameworks.
• Act as a global point of contact, aligning security initiatives across regions and business units.
• Guide multiple concurrent security initiatives, ensuring governance, consistency, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and technical architecture teams to ensure secure-by-design principles across all systems.
• Evaluate third-party security solutions and contribute to selection, integration, and implementation decisions.
• Monitor emerging threats and regulatory requirements, translating them into actionable security improvements.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in technology, with at least 5+ years in enterprise security architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in security threat landscapes, cyber defense mechanisms, and industry-standard security controls.
• Deep understanding of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and secure connectivity frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (Azure preferred, AWS exposure valued) and multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of identity and access management solutions (e.g., Okta, PingFederate, ADFS) and encryption/key management practices.
• Proven ability to design scalable, enterprise-grade security architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Experience in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 is an advantage.
