Vidyard is looking for a Security focused Software Developer to join our growing team and play a critical role as we continue to build and improve our platform. What you’ll do:

• Lead efforts to define, document and implement industry leading security practices & internal controls
• Be responsible for securing cloud based infrastructure within a remote workforce environment
• Partner with other developers across engineering teams to help secure our applications and monitor their configurations and vulnerabilities continuously
• Have a strong focus on automation of modern security practices to proactively build tooling protect our platform
• Evaluate new cybersecurity threats and IT trends to develop effective security controls
• Use your knowledge of industry compliance standards (NIST/ISO/SOC) to recommend processes and tooling to help engineering teams operate effectively
• Research, develop and maintain high quality vulnerability/security posture analysis
• Lead and write code to aid in our ongoing shift towards Infrastructure as Code

• Operational concerns such as monitoring and logging
• Container Orchestration platforms such as AWS ECS and Kubernetes
• Security Infrastructure Tooling (WAF, Guard Duty, SIEM)
