Senior Security Engineer

We seek a seasoned Senior Security Engineer to join our team to work on a dynamic project for our prestigious client, a leading global investment firm.
This position will play a key role in shaping the security landscape of the organization by developing and implementing advanced automated security solutions that enhance threat detection, incident response, and overall security operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with IT and Security Teams: There is a need for collaboration with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Security Operations (SecOps), and other security teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes
• Develop and implement automated solutions to enhance threat detection, incident response, and security operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand security requirements and design automation workflows
• Integrate security tools and platforms with automation frameworks to streamline security operations
• Perform testing and validation of automated solutions to ensure reliability and effectiveness
• Provide technical expertise and support for security automation initiatives
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in security automation
• Work with the team responsible for ServiceNow to support them in integrating with external security systems

Requirements

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, SQL, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Strong understanding of security concepts, technologies, and best practices
• Experience with security tools and platforms such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Experience with data integration, modelling and presentation using tools such as Power Bi or Tableau
• ServiceNow experience is a plus
