Senior Security Engineer

Job Description:
This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Dublin office at least two days per week.
The Opportunity
The Senior IT Security Engineer will contribute to ensuring that best practice information security and compliance is implemented across the Workhuman organisation thus ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and systems in support of the business.
You will operate a part of the information security team, taking ownership of certain processes (E.G. Third party risk management, Customer RFP responses, ISO27001 compliance, Change control) as assigned. You will work with various stakeholders to ensure process improvements across the business.
You will ensure that you maintain good industry knowledge, threat awareness and pursue relationships external to Workhuman to ensure that knowledge stays current and relevant.

The skills you will bring

• You will be an experienced Information Security professional with the highest standard of ethical conduct.

• You have experience evaluating, designing and implementing information security tooling.

• Experience conducting reviews and assessments to measure compliance with policy and best practice, designing and implementing mitigations where necessary.

• A knowledge of practical BCP / DRP planning /testing and how to apply same to both business and technical areas.

• Capability in developing metrics that are meaningful and contribute to the assurance / compliance reporting.

• An interest in providing guidance and support to other team members, developing their knowledge and skills

• Experience with leading or participating in ISO 27001 audits and have proven experience with risk and compliance processes

• A communication style and mananer that allows you to respond to customer / prospect queries in support of the legal, sales and customer success organisations.

Achievements:

• You will have a proven record in implementing Information Security controls and managing compliance against policy.

• You have developed, written and updated security policies and procedures.

• A security qualification or certification

• A relevant degree would be an advantage

• At least 5 years in an information security role
