Senior Security Engineer

Inceptio Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Security Engineer in Fremont, CA. Duties: Implement crypto APIs and security tools/features to support key security programs, including Product and Application security, Infrastructure and Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management of ADU. Identify and validate vulnerabilities from a variety of sources for Inceptio’s autonomous driving system. Act as a resource and guide for engineering teams to provide design/solutions on resolving the vulnerabilities to meet automotive security and coding standards. Participate in the architecture design and function definition of the autonomous driving system, identify attack surfaces through threat analysis, and propose the corresponding mitigation solutions. Mentor team developers promoting guidelines on the best security practices.

Requires: Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires 3 years of experience in: C++, C and Python; Cryptography and HSMs (Hardware Security Module); Operating system and security design principles in UNIX based OS; 2 years experience in: AUTOSAR crypto stack and experience with an AUTOSAR configuration tool, and 1 year experience in: TPM (Trusted Platform Module) technology.

Base salary range for this role is $158,080-$190,000. Actual salary may vary depending on experience and location.
