We are looking for a Senior Security Operations Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Security Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security logs, detecting and responding to security incidents, and maintaining the security of our organization's systems and networks. You will also be responsible for working with other security team members to improve our security posture and stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.

• Investigate and respond to security incidents
• Maintain the security of the organization's systems and networks
• Configure and manage security tools and systems
• Work with other security team members to improve security posture
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends

What You Bring To The Table:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in security operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to help manage incidents and work with teams on remediation tasks and improvements to security tools and processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Additional Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with security tools and systems such as SIEM (Splunk), SOAR, EDR (SentinelOne), and firewalls (Fortigate)
• Experience with incident response procedures and developing playbooks
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Experience with compliance requirements such as PCI DSS
• Strong understanding of security best practices

New York Salary Range: $165,000-$214,500
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.
