About the role:

In this opportunity as Senior Security Platform Engineer you will:

• Be a key part of the 24/7 security engineering team
• Be 3rd line support of security tools and infrastructure. This will include Anti-malware tools (Currently Trend products), EDR Tools (Currently FireEye HX), XDR Tools (SentinelOne)
• Provide 3rd level support including, but not limited to, responding to alerts, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution to meet customer and SLA needs.
• Act as an interface with the other IT disciplines inside the larger organization, including network engineering, storage engineering, systems management engineering, and platform engineering to provide resolution of service issues.
• Work with our partners to define and apply security configurations for the services offered by ISRM.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Security Platform Engineer if your background includes:

• Minimum 5 years IT experience
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Experience with, or working knowledge of AV/EDR software.
• Application/Infrastructure engineering experience
• Excellent customer service and communication (oral / written) skills required.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Related Field
• Knowledge of and experience with a Linux OS distribution.
• Scripting experience (python, powershell, etc.)
• Knowledge of and experience with cloud platforms a plus.
• Knowledge of and experience with related Windows Server technologies.
