The Identity & Access Management Team at Robinhood exemplifies our Safety First value by owning services that manage access to internal services, third party SaaS application, infrastructure and data that power Robinhood as an enterprise. Identity is a key investment in our overall security strategy and Through our Least Privilege and Identity based perimeter approaches shape how we safeguard Robinhood as an enterprise.
About the Role
As a Sr. Security Software Engineer you'll mature and support our Least Privilege and Identity Based Perimeter strategy. This role is responsible for developing and operating IAM capabilities that manage access to internal services, third party SaaS application, infrastructure and data. You'll partner with teams across Security & Privacy, Engineering and more to create and implement policies & strategies to continually improve the security posture of Robinhood. Maintaining engineering standards and serving unique scaling challenges will be critical in our fast moving environment.
What you'll do day-to-day:

• You will design, build and operate IAM tools and systems that manage access to internal services, third party SaaS application, infrastructure and data.
• Partner with teams across Security & Privacy and Robinhood to address business and technical requirements by delivering secure solutions and features in accordance with our priorities and roadmap.
• Write high quality and well tested, secure code and scripts to ship to our Stakeholders.
• Create and implement policies & strategies to continually mature Robinhood's identity security posture to move us towards Least Privilege and Identity based perimeter.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management.
• Proficiency in IAM tools and systems (includes and not limited to) Okta, Google, AWS IAM, Active Directory, Workflows, Connectors.
• Proficiency in SSO protocols SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0.
• Proficiency in Multi-factor Authentication and Risk based Authentication.
• Proficiency in Access Management using different standards (Group Based, Role Based, Attribute Based and Policy Based Access Control) including Privileged Access Management.
• Proficiency in IAM Governance by creating and implementing policies to continually improve the security posture of IAM systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar dynamic programming language.
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL-like databases.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container based systems.
• Experience building standalone APIs that can be consumed by various types of clients.
• Experience working with Security, DevOps, and Incident Response teams.

Bonus points:

• Experience with access management tools like Opal, SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk or any other new and emerging products.

• Software development languages and frameworks like Python and Go
• Container orchestration and stream processing solutions like Kubernetes and Kafka
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)

CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $146000 to $194000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.
