Senior Service Delivery Manager - Core Technology Infrastructure

The Bank of America Infrastructure Protection and Recovery (IPR) team is embarking on a strategic program to enhance the ability of the Bank to recover from potential severe disruptions to its critical core infrastructure and ensure that robust, holistic, and well documented plans are in place and well maintained, so that we can withstand very unlikely and yet plausible events.
The Product Manager with be a key part of an expanded team to manage Critical Core Infrastructure (CCI) identification, review, testing assurance, plan development and maintenance and other activities that will ensure these critical services are appropriately accounted for, managed and operated.
For the next 12+ months, the Product Manager will be a critical member of the program team that bring this new structure to existence, including development of initial plans, driving tabletop exercise of those plans, identifying and supporting improvement in plans, defining and aligning testing requirements, identifying critical dependencies and more. This will allow the Product Manager to help define the future structure and have been core part of bringing it to life.
After the initial phase, is expected that the Product Manager will own a portfolio of CCI technologies and work closely with owners and others to ensure that portfolio remains current, is resilient, can recovery and restore as needed, through well established and effectively operated routines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with technology owners to develop initial restoration plans
• Support exercising of those plans
• Help define and executing testing of those plans
• Connect across Global Technologies to tie various related processes together
• Manage the addition of new CCIs and the retirement of old ones
• Ensure recovery and restoration of the CCI portfolio is managed effectively in a sustainable manner
Required Skills
• Background in technology disaster recovery planning and execution
• Risk and control experience
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
• Attentive to details
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate and build partnerships across different infrastructure owners
• Ability to work under pressure and meet competing requirements
• Ability to adjust to changing requirements and focus
Desired Skills
• Experience with large scale disaster recovery planning and execution (e.g. Data Centers, regions, etc.)
• Working knowledge (Architecture and Operations) of technology infrastructure, including one or more of the of the following technologies: Network routers and switches, SD-WAN, DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, Firewall, Load balancing, Cloud, Mainframe, Storage, Middleware, Voice systems (Enterprise and Trader Voice), IAM, MS Exchange, Database, Enterprise tools, hosting environments (private cloud), etc.
• Prior experience in conducting technology assessments
• Prior experience working on audit and regulatory issues
