Come join Eaton's North American Sales team as a Service Sales Engineer!

This role is open to a hybrid work schedule. The candidate must be located within a 50-mile radius of: Fort Wayne, IN; Cincinnati, OH; Dayton, OH or Indianapolis, IN. Relocation assistance will be offered.

Position Overview:

The primary function of the Service Sales Engineer is to sell Eaton's electrical services offering to industrial, utility, commercial, data center and institutional customers in the targeted market areas. In doing so, the Senior Sales Engineer will manage the customer relationship, providing sales support and technical expertise to distributors, end users, contractors, and specifiers.

In this function you will:
  • Work for the largest electrical service provider in North America
  • Sell across all end market segments, including utilities, data centers, industrials, commercial and government customers
  • Develop consultative and differentiated solutions
  • Build cross functional relationships with operations, marketing, adjacent sales teams, and channel partners
  • Maximize career growth potential through broad exposure to Eaton's segments and product lines
  • Travel up to 10%

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum one (1) year of sales, field service or electrical industry experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Electrical industry experience
