Job Summary
The Senior ServiceNow Developer's role is to define technical system requirements and making modifications in ServiceNow around the core concepts of business process automation/management, collaboration, business intelligence, and enterprise content management. Leading in the use of agile methodologies, this role will work with all stakeholders (including business leaders and end users) to analyze business needs, develop appropriate custom solutions and ensure that the solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow applications and workflows
- Support out of the box applications including Problem, Change, Incident, Service Portal, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Service Management
- Automating and streamlining business processes using ServiceNow, along with other integrated tools and technologies
- Lead projects and daily work through the use of agile methodologies
- Gather and analyze end user requirements for application access and usability in accordance with business objectives
- Create and maintain documentation related to maintenance and modifications of designated applications
- Collaborate with subject matter experts in the testing of new and updated applications
- Coaches and instructs end-users in effective use of application
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging technologies and technical strategy related to productivity and collaboration tools, and advises department management where improvements are deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow Administration and Development
- Support and customization of ITSM & ITOM
- Agile Development methodology or similar experience
- Experience integrating with external systems through SOAP or REST web services
- Building and maintaining documentation of systems and KBs for end users
- Ability to troubleshoot business rules, workflows, and scripts
- Scripting skills such as Python or PowerShell
- ServiceNow Glide Class Scripting
- Works well within a Team and independently
- ITIL Foundation Training
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework
- Asset Management / Identity Management / Service Desk
- Performing needs analysis, capturing business requirements, proposal development
- Performance Analytics
- Angular.js
- ITIL Foundation Certification
