Senior SharePoint Engineer/Architect

DGR Systems is looking for a Senior Microsoft SharePoint Engineer with a focus on the Microsoft collaboration suite including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and Microsoft Teams. This is NOT a SharePoint Developer position.

This individual will work with clients, partners, engineers, and the sales team to provide high-quality and tailored services to clients. This position requires an individual that is highly motivated, knowledgeable of best practices associated with the Microsoft Power Platform and Collaboration stacks, incessantly client-focused and has excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate is one who brings both experience and business acumen with a growth mindset and passion for continuous learning to bring the best solutions to DGR Systems and our clients.

Responsibilities

• Migration experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform

• Design and deployment of Office 365 Architecture

Deliver high-quality work in both large-scale project environments and smaller, single-staffed engagement models

• Responsible for the solution planning, development, and delivery of Microsoft Collaboration products
• Assist with the analysis of client business needs and develop a proposed solution
• Knowledge transfer and sharing best practices with team members that help enhance the quality and efficiency of customer service and process management
• Assist clients with implementations to meet specific client business needs including analysis, upgrades, data migrations, etc.
• Promote best practices in terms of both processes and deliverables
• Maintain specific knowledge of the client and how our services related to their business strategy and goals
• Collaborate with the appropriate internal teams to develop and maintain a technology plan that supports the client's needs
• Manage escalation internally to ensure appropriate servicing of client needs
• Assess and communicate risks associated with technology-related investments and purchases
• Ensure consistency of existing systems by enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
• Work closely with others across the organization to define and deliver new services and products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in the field of information technology or equivalent combination of experience and education
• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 and Office 365 as an administrator or consultant
• Multiple years of experience with SharePoint/SharePoint Online.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, event-driven system-oriented architecture, data formats such as JSON and XML, data normalization, contextualization, and qualification
• Knowledge of modern IT applications, processes, software, and equipment
• Experience creating customized solutions using .NET, CSOM, JSOM, JSLink and REST APIs is preferred
• Experience with Power Platform is a plus
• Enhanced or additional experience in any of the following areas (preferred but not required):
  • Migration to Office 365 workloads from non-Microsoft platforms
  • Cloud-based identity solutions (Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
  • Migration tools: BitTitan, Mover.io, ShareGate, etc.
  • Security assessments and best practices
• Ability to work independently and stay organized when assigned to multiple projects concurrently
• A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner toward clients, partners, and peers
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop design deliverables that map customer business requirements to solutions and technologies
• High emotional intelligence to be able to work in stressful situations ensuring quality outcomes
• Must be incessantly focused on ensuring the quality of the client experience
