The eCommerce team powers our US and Canada Columbia.com sites as well as our Customer Care Center. From merchandising and marketing to product management and technology, the consumer is at the center of everything we do. And, the eCommerce team is known for the relentless improvement of
the customer experience-always striving for a better, faster, easier experience.
The Senior Site Promotions Specialist supports the overall eCommerce business objectives for the Columbia websites in the US and Canada. This person manages the eCommerce promotion calendars and helps oversee execution of the promotional strategy. This individual will develop in-depth knowledge of our pricing strategies and promotional tactics to drive top-line revenue while meeting margin, product sell-through, and brand objectives.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Manages eCommerce promotion calendars, ensuring all details are complete, up-to-date, aligned with pricing policies, and communicated to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develops promotion plans, contingency scenarios, and product inclusion/exclusion lists in collaboration with DTC stakeholders.
- Prepares and executes all promotion launches, including pricing, supporting content, customer care FAQs, and terms & conditions. Validates legal requirements are met and leveraged across channels where appropriate.
- Analyzes and reports on promotion performance and profitability. Monitors competitor promotional activities. Develops test ideas, and proactively drives performance improvements.
- Manages promotion codes, supporting affiliate and partner programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOU ARE
- An online shopper, familiar with best practices in eCommerce
- Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of urgency
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented enviornment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
- A strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company
YOU HAVE
- 5-8 years of professional experience and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
- Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
- Web or Marketing Analytics certificate preferred
- Strong experience with Salesforce or other commerce/pricing tool required
- Strong analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics
- Ability to perform margin-based analyses
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or other content management system preferred
- Experience in B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment preferred
