Cognosos is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) responsible for the overall quality of our Asset Tracking Service. A good SRE must apply sound engineering principles to enhance automation for all deployments, manage monitoring and alerting systems, and stay on top of potential issues due to scale, security vulnerabilities, and infrastructure decisions. The right candidate is obsessed with product reliability and quality improvements and has experience defining processes, building automated tools, and leading a Quality Assurance department. • Work with the executive team in to define SLOs for the Cognosos platform and service
• Build processes and tools to monitor uptime, and measure the SLA compliance of the overall service, as well as individual components (Hardware, Network, Software)
• Provide periodic reports/dashboard for System performance and availability
• Work with the hardware and platform engineering teams, and the field services team to define and implement notifications, alarms, and escalation procedures 

• 5+ years Quality Assurance engineering experience preferably in a Hardware/Software company
• Background in Statistical Quality control techniques
• Understands software testing methodologies and techniques, such as front-end functional testing, system integration testing, performance and load testing
• Strong leadership skills enabling a QA team in testing activities
• Strong scripting experience with python, JSON, SQL, etc.
• Knowledge of industry standard Software Development Life Cycles
• Experience with AWS environment
