Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location - Remote In the USA

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and development engineering teams to design and deploy robust and scalable cloud infrastructure in the AWS environment.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for code deployment.
• Work with engineering teams to develop platforms and services to increase developer velocity and provide simple solutions to common developer challenges.
• Participate in a low-volume on-call rotation with other Site Reliability Engineers
• Work with others on the SRE team and Engineering to ensure the infrastructure and Echo360 platform is operated securely.
• Explore new technologies and innovative solutions to improve service quality and speed to market.
• Actively participate in technical discussions and deep dives with the other engineering and product teams.

This position is FULLY REMOTE; we will consider candidates located in many, but not all, states within the United States.

For US-based positions, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent job experience required
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in AWS cloud environment.
• Strong familiarity with containers and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed applications throughout the entire stack
• Strong CS fundamentals, including OO concepts, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Proficient in scripting language.
• Experience with CI/CD automation frameworks like Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of network security in AWS environment.
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregation frameworks such as DataDog, ElasticSearch, and Kibana.
• Deep understanding of Git and source control management tools such as Bitbucket, GitHu
