Join our Infrastructure Team as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer and play a pivotal role in scaling and securing our expansive infrastructure. We're on a quest for an innovative engineer passionate about automating to the max enhancing reliability and driving seamless automation across our operations.

What You'll Do:

• Empower Development Teams: Provide support to our development teams ensuring our systems are scalable highly available and deliver peak performance.

• Foster Engineering Excellence: Collaborate with fellow engineers and cross-functional teams to uphold best practices in engineering and embody our core values.

• Lead by Example: Share your expertise organization-wide guiding teams in identifying resolving and preemptively addressing production issues through education and collaboration.

• Champion Automation: Embrace and implement a 'Infrastructure as Code' philosophy automating tasks to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

• Own It: Take full operational responsibility for our services including participating in on-call rotations managing incidents with grace and conducting blameless postmortems.

• Elevate Observability: Advance our systems' observability serving as both a developer and a mentor enhancing frameworks and guiding product development teams.

• Guarantee Continuity: Design and refine business continuity strategies ensuring our operations withstand challenges and maintain integrity.

• Optimize Infrastructure: Continually enhance our infrastructure for cost efficiency simplicity and maintainability while hardening security measures.

What You'll Need:

• Proven Expertise: Demonstrable experience in deploying large-scale monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. ELK Graylog Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch) and mastery in observability including Golden Signals SLI/SLO and DORA metrics.

• Technical Savvy: Hands-on experience with performance reliability observability and incident management tools. Proficiency in Python and a strong understanding of web/network protocols (HTTP TLS DNS).

• DevOps Champion: A strong advocate for DevOps culture with a knack for automation and enhancing feedback loops.

• Cloud Mastery: Extensive experience with AWS containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools.

• Troubleshooting Pro: Exceptional skills in diagnosing and resolving system/network issues along with solid experience in maintaining critical production services.

• Security Conscious: A deep understanding of information security principles and a commitment to secure engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain technical playbooks procedures and documentation.

  Nice to Have:

  • Experience with security hardening and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda API Gateway SQS).

  • Advanced knowledge in managing observability for large-scale distributed systems.

  • GitLab CI/CD pipelines
