The Impact U will make:

• You will report to the SRE manager in the Operate Camp.
• Commit to your team’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals created in our DEI Unqork Application.
• You will combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
• Participate as a partner in planning the product roadmap, sprint planning, stand-ups.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation; evolve systems by pushing for changes that improves reliability and velocity.
• Increase visibility into the health and durability of the Unqork platform.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Maintain existing services and tools, augmenting and replacing.

What U bring:

• 6+ years as a Site Reliability Engineer or Software Developer.
• Experience working with a major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Advanced experience with programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript/NodeJS, Python or Bash.
• Knowledge in Linux monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration.
• Can write and evaluate code for scalability/runtime.
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or Nomad.
• Experience with monitoring, APM, and logging tooling (Eg: ELK, Grafana, Datadog, NewRelic, or Splunk).
• Experience working with at least one DBMS (Eg: Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, Google Deployment Manager, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Understanding of cloud native security requirements (Eg: WAF, security groups).

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $117,600 - $184,800  + bonus + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee. Please note that the salary range reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity or perks/benefits.
