Senior Social Compliance Auditor - APSCA

JOB DESCRIPTION
Social Compliance Auditor will perform social compliance assessments in a variety of manufacturing sites, farms, processing plants and/or other work related sites throughout a region or country. The social compliance auditor assesses and reports in accordance with UL Responsible Sourcing and client audit protocols on facilities working conditions as it relates to established code of conducts, initiatives and/or client programs. Auditors are expected to write comprehensive reports in English in an objective, accurate, detail and timely manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute accurate, objective and high quality social compliance assessments by implementing all requirements indicated in the client specific procedures, auditor training and audits scope.
• Prepare in advance by downloading and reading audit documents related to upcoming audits.
• Document and report the audit findings/observations.
• Communicate audit results to facility management in a professional, objective, and clear manner.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken as a result of audit.
• Cooperate with and supporting other auditors and staff.
• Submit complete audit reports timely.
• Promptly address any clarification queries from the reviewing team.
• Complete all assigned training activities and actively participate in training sessions.
• Apply feedback from reviewers, training supervisor, quality manager and client facing team to future work for continuous improvement.
• Treat privileged information with discretion and ensuring all audit related documents and results remain confidential and well-guarded.
• Update country law profiles for assigned country/region in support of the audit process & advisory services and update appropriate tracking tools.
• The salary range for this position is $70000 minimum budgeted by team - $85000 midpoint of the salary range and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position. All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 5% of the base salary offered.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in a related discipline and/or equivalent social compliance auditing experience.
• APSCA, CSCA, ASCA or Registered Auditor Credentials preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products.
• Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of in-house staff and clients.
• Ability to travel extensively to accomodate client needs.
• Ability to complete required reports within client time expectations.
• Ability to research and interpret local jurisdiction requirements and law profiles.
