We are currently looking for a Social Media Manager (SMM) to join the Designit team that supports Microsoft Cloud Marketing Social and Blog. This world-class social team operates 74+ social media channels and 17+ marketing blogs designed for developers, IT decision makers, IT implementers, and business decision makers. Each month, we publish over 3,000 social posts to help, inform, entertain, and engage community members across the globe. Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and SQL Server are just a few examples of the 170 innovative products and services that comprise the Cloud Marketing Social and Blog ecosystem.Â
The Social Media Manager will work directly with the Senior Social Media Managers (Sr. SMM) and Microsoft Blog and Social Leads (BSLs). This workstream helps stakeholders across Microsoft leverage brand channels to drive impact through quality social content. In this role, you will help the Sr. SMM in working to gain alignment across workstreams like analytics, blog, copy and creative, events, announcements, YouTube and community management as it relates to their solution area. This will include managing content briefs, content calendars and support administration with opportunities to get involved in strategic planning and reporting. The ideal candidate has some B2B social media experience and looking to expand their knowledge. This individual enjoys fast paced collaborative environments and displays a 'can do' attitude.Â
What you will do:Â
- Identify content opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to BSLs and stakeholder teams
- Oversee management of content briefs
- Management and ownership of editorial calendar and approving stakeholdersÂ
- Input monthly content calendar requests into Sprinklr
- Proactive communication with Community Management for engagement opportunities with key audiences - UGC, retweets, GIFs, surprise and delight engagement opportunities
- Contribute to monthly analytics reports in partnership with Sr. SMM and BSLs
- Help with meeting organization and facilitation internally and with Microsoft
- Support annual planning motions and deck creation
What you bring:Â
- 3+ years of social marketing experience
- Experience in the use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) with a foundational understanding of the digital marketing landscape including paid
- Ability to work successfully with managers day-to-day
- A strategic and solution-oriented mindset when working with stakeholders within the Blog and Social ecosystem
- Experience working with stakeholders to define strategy around organic and paid campaigns, including content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
- Experience working with Sprinklr (filtering dashboards, and partnering with teams for analytics requests)
- Microsoft experience a plus

Compensation Range: $105,000 - $110,000
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
