The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Senior Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Promoting the DevSecOps culture at 3M
• Design and Development of high quality, efficient, maintainable Java code in a team environment with challenging deadlines
• Designing and assisting with the maintenance of Kubernetes clusters
• Streamlining deployment standards
• Contributing to and carry out information security plans and policies
• Willingness to be on-call

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of experience in software development

OR

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and fourteen (14) years of experience in software development

• Seven (7) years of software development experience
• Three (3) years of experience with Kubernetes or similar systems
• Three (3) years of software development experience in Java

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with cloud architectures and large-scale, high volume hosted applications
• Hands on experience with CI/CD
• Experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple teams
• Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level

Work Your Way Eligible - Remote Pittsburgh and Remote USA

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international travel

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
