Senior Software Architect

Department: Product Development 

Reports to: Chief Architect

Responsibilities: 

• Work with other architects to define best practices, processes and to code proof-of-concept systems to derisk architectural proposals 
• Propose and maintain technologies for .Net backend services 
• Propose and maintain technologies for React frontend services 
• Work with product managers to ensure feasibility of product requirements 
• Work with developers to ensure optimal and consistent architectural design 
• Design, develop, and support REST-based APIs 
• Mentor and coach other developers 
• Promote best practices of application architecture and development 
• Perform other related duties as required 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
• Experience with SaaS multi-tenant systems and concepts 
• Experience with extensible software and maintaining ecosystems
• 1+ years of experience in a principal/architect equivalent role 
• Intimate knowledge of inner-workings of C# / .Net Core and/or React/Typescript or equivalent ecosystem (Java)
• Experience with SPA web applications; React, Vue.js or equivalent 
• Deep understanding of non-functional system requirements such as throughput, concurrency, availability, scalability, extensibility, and maintainability 
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL / one major RDBMS 
• Exceptional problem solver and fast learner 
• Excellent influencing, verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills 
• Creative, industrious, and passionate  

Experience: 

• 10+ years of experience in software development
• Prior experience in an eClinical field, eCOA preferred
