Senior Software Developer

ATLAS SP is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to collaborate within a team-based Agile model, delivering features and functionality for a business-critical, client-facing framework. The team is passionate about crafting enhanced functionality to create value for business and better experiences for our customers. 

Position Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of cutting-edge web applications in key business areas. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior team members. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a passion for cutting-edge technologies, and the ability to hit the ground running.  

Primary Responsibilities

Full-Stack Development: 

• Design and implement user interfaces using React/Next.js for a seamless and intuitive user experience. 
• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Java/SpringBoot, ensuring robust and scalable back-end functionality. 
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to integrate front-end and back-end components seamlessly. 

Architecture and Design: 

• Contribute to the overall system architecture and design discussions, ensuring adherence to best practices and scalability principles. 
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that align with project requirements and industry trends. 
• Understand micro-services architecture and domain driven design patterns. 

Code Quality and Testing: 

• Enforce coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality code. 
• Implement and advocate for automated testing strategies to ensure the reliability and stability of the software. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. 

• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate development efforts and provide status updates. 
• Hands-on experience utilizing Agile delivery methodology and participating in story writing, backlog refinement, and all Squad Scrum ceremonies. 

Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor's in Computer Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Software Engineer with expertise in React and Java development. 
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development principles and best practices. 
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration. 
• Must have experience with Next.js, React, NodeJS, TypeScript, Java (17+), SpringBoot.  
• Beneficial experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, Snyk, Cypress, StoryBook, Docker, Terraform, SQL Server, Mongo DB. 
• Appreciation for and alignment to standard methodologies regarding coding standards, common design patterns, secure application development, and test coverage 
• Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills. 

 Base Salary Range

$125,000 - $175,000
