As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll provide technical leadership to the team who provides full SDLC activities to the client, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do: 

• Steer each agile team and serve as an application architect.
• Be responsible for reviewing and approving the team’s designs for all development work.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, serving as a trusted advisor and partner.
• Provide oversight to the agile team and co-lead with the PM for technical vision and direction.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• 8+ years of experience leading agile software development teams in a technical leadership role and an Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SAFe Agilist).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) and strong proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Ruby on Rails, Java Spring, JavaScript, Node.js.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks and back-end technologies such as ExtJS, Angular, JavaScript libraries, PHP, .NET, and SharePoint. 
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Proficiency in working with databases such as DB2, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Previous experience with Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) capabilities and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges, and experience creating a mitigation plan.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
