Senior Software Developer

Nymbl’s mission is to mobilize older adults to age well. We started with a scientifically-validated digital balance training program that prevents 35% of injurious falls and is loved by older adults with an 81 NPS score.  As a full-stack Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an agile team tasked with sustaining and evolving the Nymbl platform. You and your teammates will have a direct impact on growth. This role will expose you to the full tech stack as you work closely with Product and Design to develop a superior experience for older adults. We value a generalist skill set with some specialization/expertise within the stack.

Nymbl Science uses an agile development process and believes in the intent of the original Agile Manifesto. We quickly iterate and improve our solutions, and we iterate and improve our development processes as well.

This role is based in Denver, CO. Our team works as a hybrid team, with engineers typically in office 2-3 days per week.

• 4+ years of professional C# experience working up and down the technology stack from database to UI

  • You have a general ability to contribute along the stack

  • You have expertise in one or more areas, such as Mobile UI (Xamarin), Web UI (Vue / Angular), REST API development, business logic, SQL, etc.

• 2+ years of experience with a UI framework (e.g. XAML, Vue, Angular, React)

• Interest in working full-stack – including mobile app (Xamarin / Maui), backend, web (Vue)

• Understand RESTful API fundamentals

• Automated Unit and Integration Test Development

• You enjoy agile practices when done well, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives etc.

• You enjoy reviewing code kindly and meticulously

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated passion for learning

• U.S. Resident in the greater Denver, CO area

• U.S. citizen or green card

• Professional experience with at least 2 of the “nice to have” technologies listed in the next section

• Professional experience with the following technologies:

  • ASP.Net Core

  • Xamarin

  • Entity Framework

  • Vue

  • SQL

  • Azure

• Prior experience in health tech with a working knowledge of data security considerations

• Introductory meeting with Engineering Leadership (½ hour).

• Technical interview with members of the development team (1 hour).

• 1 - 2 panel interviews with 3 - 4 representatives from other teams within Nymbl (1 hour each), typically in person.

The salary range for this position is $125k - $145k
