Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking Senior Software Developer to write wrapped tactical code in support of the Stratgeic Defense BU. The candidate should have experience in, a number of, key disciplines and the desire to learn those things necessary to complete the product.

• Desired writing software in Ada
• Desired writing software in C++ or C
• Desire experience with Python or Matlab
• Release, testing or execution of tactical software
• Experience with tactical hardware is desired
• Desired experience in embedded systems, real-time systems, real-time software
• Desired radar experience and understanding of design
• Experience with the SBX radar is desired
• Willingness to learn and grow

The candidate will be expected to work with a skilled team as well as provide individual contribution to the team.

Job Requirements

A B.S., M.S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other applicable degrees with 10 years of relevant experience. The degree must be from an accredited university.

The position requires that the candidate hold a secret level security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.
