This position is remote. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

The Sr Software Developer will add bandwidth to our Data Manager development team to assist the InsideTrack development team moving out of the Data Manager codebase, customer alignment and syncing projects with Salesforce and other stakeholders, system restructuring, and much more.

Your impact:

• Work closely with the development team and stakeholders to improve the existing application, including designing and building out scalable solutions to support the growing needs of the organization.
• Work with project managers or product owners to understand and define system requirements.
• Develop high quality code that adheres to best practices in design, proper testing, and good documentation.
• Fulfill stakeholders’ needs and ensure they are satisfied with the end result.
• Other related duties as assigned.

About you:

• 10+ years of experience developing in an object-oriented language
• 10+ years of experience working with relational databases (MySQL preferred)
• Strong experience with Java 8+
• Experience mentoring team members
• Experience leading projects
• Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (SCRUM a plus)
• Preferred experience w/ languages: JS (Angular or React), Python
• Preferred experience w/ technologies: Spring Boot, AWS, Redshift, JPA, Git, RESTful API, UNIX/Linux, JIRA, Confluence
• Software development expertise including use primarily of Java (programming language) and MySQL (database technology). Skills with JS (Angular or React), Spring Boot, AWS, Redshift, JPA, Git, RESTful API, UNIX/Linux, JIRA, Confluence are a big plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead projects.
• Ability to work with and mentor more Jr team members.
