Senior Software Developer

The Senior Software Developer's role is overseeing the development and implementation of new Sensia's software systems. You will work with management to define software requirements and take the lead on operations and technical projects. You will be part of the Technology Field Devices Team and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of high-quality software aligned with users needs and business goals. You may also be required to update existing software and conduct feasibility studies on company systems. A successful Senior Software Developer will grow and leverage a diverse team of experts to convert compelling technologies into business returns for Sensia and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software
• Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications
• Involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems
• Design, Development and Testing of Embedded Software for Ultrasonic Flow Meters used in Oil, Gas, Nuclear, Hydro and Defense applications worldwide
• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
• Document development phases and monitor systems
