With offices in Budapest, Singapore, Berlin, and Jakarta, we provide services to a variety of clients from disruptive unicorns to large and reputable enterprises.
We’re expanding our dynamic backend team that’s helping an international scale-up developing microservices. We’re looking for a talented Senior Software Developer who is up to delivering the high-quality standards of such an international project on the Google Cloud Platform.

We are looking for you if

• you have a minimum of 5 years of Python development experience with strong SQL knowledge.
• your creative approach to problem-solving comes hand in hand with systematic and quick thinking.
• you thrive when trying out new technologies.
• you have good communication skills both in Hungarian and English.
• you are efficient in prototyping with conscious decisions on tradeoffs you have to make.

Your role will include

• developing complex cloud-based products.
• getting to know Google Drive better than its own developers and doing things with it that it was not originally designed to do.
• solving complex problems in collaboration with colleagues in Budapest and remote teams.
• scaling the application on the Google Cloud Platform as the user base grows.
• optimizing the code and data structures to make the application fast and the users happy.
• tracking down tricky problems in a distributed production system and in libraries you have to use. 
• creating and challenging the design and suggesting better ways, if there is one.
• performing code reviews and teaching each other new tricks.

It would be nice if you also had

• some development experience with Java.
• experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google App Engine).
• an interest in or experience with Big Data.
• your own pet project, which you started from scratch.
• experience in customer relationships.
• interest in Generative AI.
