We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our dynamic team you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do and you’ll be working closely with fellow developers designers and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to lead and drive collaboration across teams
• Experience in Agile scrum working with GitHub and other tracking tools.
• Proficient in Python Java and JMeter coding and debugging
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing sophisticated UI or API test automation frameworks and strategies
• Working knowledge of implementing Scripting against REST APIs
• Working knowledge of Chrome Developer Tool or other UI profiling tools
• 5 + years of experience in software or performance test development

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Working knowledge of CICD pipeline and development cycle process
• Working knowledge of Jupyter Notebook
• Hands on experience in containerized solutions including Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Product knowledge of IBM Knowledge Catalog
