Seeking a Senior Software Engineering role with an aim to make a significant impact in an outstanding engineering organization? Look no further! Workday Inc is looking for a senior software engineer who can contribute their expertise to our outstanding team in Boulder.
Workday is hiring a backend Senior Software Engineer who will work with a team to develop critical platforms and tools to support a global team building backend core services. This team is responsible for developing a world-class developer experience and delivery for services core to Workday's backend platform. You will have the chance to collaborate with engineers worldwide, contributing to our company's success. About the Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of JVM-based software applications and developer tools

• Collaborate with organizational leaders and with teams from various departments to identify software requirements and effectively implement solutions

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code to ensure high-quality software development

• Identify and resolve issues within software applications to ensure optimal functionality

• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback to improve code quality, and mentor and collaborate with other engineers

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance your skills

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience

• 5+ years of engineering experience utilizing Java

• Experience with Gradle or Maven and general patterns of Java packaging and dependency management

Other Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent related field

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Development experience in Spring and Spring Boot

• Experience with scaling DevX projects across organizations

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.CO.Boulder

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD - $248,400 USD
