About the Team
Welcome to the Reporting team within Analytics at Workday! We are responsible for improving and scaling the reporting and analytics engine to query and operate on large volumes of transactions for critically important business needs, interactive analytics and background extractions.
About the Role
We are hiring a software engineer in our Reporting Engineering team. In this area, we focus on improving the reporting runtime and authoring experience for large volume applications. We work closely with our product management and application teams to ensure the reporting runtime is crafted to customer expectations.
Our Reporting team supports over 3.5 billion executions every month across all Workday customers (and growing!). In this role, you will work in a team of highly motivated and dedicated engineers working in a fast paced environment. This is a phenomenal opportunity to grow into a subject matter expert on the team and contribute to one of Workday's foundational product spaces.
About You
- You love working on complex technical projects

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a backend software engineer
- 5+ years coding in Java
Other Qualifications
- Superb communication skills. Ability to articulate sophisticated technical ideas
- Highly motivated to determine how things work
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta
Primary Location Base Pay Range: $142,400 - $213,600
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $135,300 - $240,000
