Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with strong Java development experience to join our team.
The world’s largest Healthcare company is going through a Customer Experience transformation and Miratech is the TRUSTED PARTNER in this journey. The project includes transitioning the IVR/Routing application from Legacy Systems (Cisco/Avaya) to the Genesys Platform on a line of business (LOB) basis.

Responsibilities:

• Write test automation frameworks and build the infrastructure and tools to test products
• Write code that automatically verifies the quality of the product and build out testing APIs/services/tools that enable other team members to do the same
• Understand software internals, debug code, automate repetitive tasks, and implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our quality process
• Work directly with both Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand project features, review technical designs, and implement automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency
• Understand customer usage models and develop test plans and test cases that approximate real-world environments and scenarios
• Perform detailed source code reviews focusing on the testability of the code to improve product coverage and effectiveness
• Provide technical guidance to overall architecture and design
• Ensure scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance in production

Qualifications

• Proficient programming skills and knowledge of Java 8+
• Strong exposure to the Selenium framework.
• Experience in testing complex back-ends and APIs.
• Experience in using test case development tools, linking test cases to requirements, defect management, and metrics reporting. (Example: Jira, TestRail, Zefir).
• Familiar with BDD.
• Understanding of software development and implementation methodologies including iterative and agile. 
• Experience or knowledge of SQL / Git-Mercurial, MongoDB.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and results-oriented.
• Resourceful and possesses a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Genesys API.
• Agile (scrum) testing experience and/or continuous delivery.
