- Design, implement, and maintain data-driven web applications and services with .NET, RDBMS, and SPA web frameworks
- Leverage your expertise in object-oriented development to produce designs and code solutions
- Provide object model and data analysis and participate in solution design activities
- Build backend services, APIs, and web-based user interfaces
- Gain an understanding of business requirements, current system operations/functionality and proposed new requirements
- Use previous experiences to contribute to the overall technical architecture
- Design, build and maintain automated unit and integration tests
- Mentor members of the development team on internal and external frameworks, software development best practices, and new technologies
- Gain an understanding of business requirements, current system operations/functionality and proposed new requirements
- Collaborate with Forge’s product, design, information security and business team members to quickly grasp domain knowledge
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years programming in C# and .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in developing n-tiered web applications using modern techniques
- Skilled in building user interfaces using Angular and/or React, Redux, and Bootstrap
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS Cloud infrastructure, along with experience in the Fintech or Financial services industry
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovation and driving forward-thinking solutions
- Experience mentoring junior software engineers
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office setting or in a home office setting while working
Nice to have:
- Experience at high-growth, venture-backed startups
- Experience also developing with Scala and Typescript/JavaScript a big plus
For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $165,000 - $175,000 + bonus & equity. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, annual bonus, and other factors.
