Senior Software Engineer

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, and we'd like you to consider joining us!

We are driven by eVisit's mission: to simplify healthcare delivery to everyone, everywhere. We are creating technology to make it simpler for patients to connect with doctors, without having to go into the clinic.

Requirements

• Develop and support proprietary applications, websites, and services using Angular8+ and Node.js

• Develop new software to help modernize Healthcare IT.
• Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external members to deliver products and features on-time
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing
• Work with 3rd party vendors and customers to support their hardware on the eVisit platform
• Evaluate processes, tools, and approaches to potentially incorporate into how we develop products to ensure we are always learning and improving
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building enterprise web applications
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, Angular , HTML, and CSS
• Solid understanding of architecture and design patterns
• Experience with the following is a plus: AngularJS, React, WebSocket, WebRTC, Twilio, video conferencing protocols and systems
• Experience building complex web system that have been successfully delivered to customers
• Driven to own the process and deliver the solution
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve strategy based on research, data and industry trends
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a regulated environment (Healthcare experience HL7, EMRs)
• Experience working with Ruby
• Experience working with EHR and EMR platforms.

Communication:

• Sound ability to express technical ideas fluently in English
• Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
