Senior Software Engineer

SailPoint is seeking a well-rounded Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare connectivity team with an interest in building product components and extensions that facilitate integration between SailPoint products and healthcare management systems. This position will have a high level of corporate visibility and the ability to work with SailPoint crew members across our engineering, services, and sales teams.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust product components that will become part of SaaS microservices and on-premises products
• Produce designs, rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements
• Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing
• Collaborate with product marketing on defining requirements
• Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and allow for continuous delivery

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Java or other object-oriented design and implementation experience including working knowledge of standard libraries and design patterns
• Experience in implementing and using RESTful APIs for an API-first application architecture
• Experience with XML, JSON, and other data representations
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• BS in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred:

• Experience with integrations with Healthcare systems (Epic, Cerner etc.) and aware of HL7 or other healthcare standards protocols.
• Experience with LDAP, Active Directory or other enterprise systems
• Experience with Continuous Delivery
