Position Overview

Do you want to create engaging, helpful, attractive websites and eCommerce platforms that are frequented by millions of visitors worldwide? Autodesk's Ecommerce Engineering team is looking for a talented Senior Software engineer who is passionate about building and delivering innovative solutions into our common platform. As part of the E-commerce Engineering team, you will be implementing exciting new features that engage and influence Autodesk customers worldwide. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges, from creating new tools and components, implementing critical services, creating new and engaging end-user experiences, to digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes. As an ideal candidate, you have to work on teams developing modern cloud-based services, in a fast-paced, agile environment. You know how to build and guide highly effective and high-performing teams while inspiring them to remain at the cutting edge.

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)
• Strong hands on coding experience
• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in Javascript , ReactJS
• Experience in working on REDUX
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Node.js
• Good to have Experience in Adobe AEM
• Experience on deployment process using Jenkins and. CI/CD
• Experience in writing unit test, integration test, cypress test
• Advanced knowledge of public cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Advanced knowledge in serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda
• Experience in using GIT, splunk, docker, rest clients
• Experience in developing rest end points
• knowledge of relational databases

Responsibilities

• Strong hands on coding experience
• Work closely with architects, technical leads, product owners, and others to drive towards a common vision
• Lead and mentor team to follow software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practices
• Design and build solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications
• Provide experience and support for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects
• Collaborate with a distributed team and stakeholders
• Be a passionate and empathetic advocate of architecture, design, and software engineering principles
• Focus on quality, including writing unit/integration tests and refactoring when appropriate

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $109,400 and $188,760. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
