Senior Software Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our customers and clinical institutions around the world to ensure their success.
• Provide technical and operational support of our SaaS solution during implementation and through the execution lifetime and ensure continuous maintenance of software support to meet product uptime and performance and ensure customer success. Deploy version updates, and perform debugging following support procedures and work closely with product development and commercial teams
• Manage and troubleshoot new release/patch deployments and provide support for new releases.
• Configure software modules and manage customer databases. Manage and create relevant databases during customer implementation.
• Develop support training documentation and train remote support staff and customers
• Develop support scripts and automation solutions for efficient and large scale implementations
• Be responsible for project management for new customer implementations, to ensure timely deployments and resolution of technical issues.
• Report and provide feedback into R&D for product enhancements and improvements
• Provide IT and operational support to the end Customers and the internal Customer Success team.

Requirements:

• Background in NGS and related data analysis and interpretation is required
• Hands on experience supporting customers in a highly technical field with a collaborative and customer focused approach
• Proven experience with Python scripting, mySQL under Linux OS and AWS cloud environment
• Possess logical and methodical approach with excellent problem solving skills
• Should have knowledge and experience of using and applying bioinformatic tools and/or interpretation tools
• Ready and willing to work after hours (when needed) to serve customers and solve critical technical issues
• 3 - 5 years of work experience with a Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent degree
