Job Duties
Develop system-level features by working closely with product and engineering management to create new data source connectors to extract data from relational databases, and design, build, test, maintain, and deploy data connectors which will be part of a product portfolio to enable Fivetran's customers of all sizes, from startups to enterprises to integrate all of their data to a single Cloud storage destination of their choice. Contribute to the maintenance and improvement in all areas of Fivetran's codebase and infrastructure. Coordinate bug-fixes and take initiative to quickly fix critical bugs. Collaborate with both technical (engineers, leads) and non-technical (product managers, analysts) teams in formulating requirements and designing and building production-ready software to help develop, maintain, and test other systems, code, and features. Participate in team and pair-programming as well as individual software development. Prepare software system and codebase-related reports and documentation related to the system-level projects at Fivetran that can be communicated cross-functionally within the company to create new data source connectors for Fivetran products that will be used by customers of all sizes- from startups to enterprises. Lead the design and implementation of system-level projects from start to finish by developing project roadmaps with a cross-functional team and directing various aspects of project implementation to ensure that end product meets milestones and requirements.
Job Requirements
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineering, or related, and 36 months of experience in an occupation related to Software Engineering.
