About the Job

The Senior Software Engineer will work within our Data group and partner with one of our four main scrum teams and will be exposed to projects involving distribution, UI, bond calculations, quantitative analysis, and market leading data products.

The individual will have the opportunity to leverage our extensive global proprietary data assets and work closely with leading developers, architects, and product management within the fixed-income fintech space.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and implement data products across all aspects of our electronic trading and related systems
• Support innovation through the creative and aggressive experimentation of cutting-edge hardware, software, processes, procedures, and methods
• Partner closely with the Technology team to ensure appropriate standards and integration

What You Bring to the Table

• Minimum 5 years of enterprise software development experience
• Development experience with primary focus in Python and Python frameworks like Pandas/Numpy etc. but expertise in other languages (Java) considered
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Understanding of object-oriented design patterns
• Working experience in AWS cloud native services (like EC2, ECS, EKS, MSK etc.) and Enterprise or cloud-based DBMS such as Oracle, Aurora Postgres, SQL Server
• A passion for collaboration and strong relationship building skills
• Interest in financial markets
• Fixed Income product knowledge, a plus but not required
• Top-notch problem resolution skills
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong written, verbal, and team communications skills

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $225,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
