This role sits at the forefront of building next-generation AI-powered user experiences, where frontend engineering meets real-time intelligence and conversational interfaces. You will design and scale highly interactive, low-latency web applications that enable users to seamlessly interact with AI systems through natural language. The position requires deep technical expertise in frontend architecture, performance optimization, and streaming data handling. You will collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, backend developers, and product designers to deliver responsive, reliable, and transparent AI experiences. • Design and implement complex, real-time frontend features for AI-driven conversational interfaces, including streaming responses and dynamic UI rendering.
• Build and optimize high-performance WebSocket and streaming pipelines with support for retries, backpressure handling, and fault tolerance.
• Architect scalable state management and caching systems to ensure consistency between UI state and backend AI-generated data.
• Improve rendering performance using modern browser APIs, profiling tools, and optimization techniques to eliminate latency and jank.
• Develop resilient UI systems capable of handling reconnections, cancellations, offline states, and partial data updates without user disruption.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, backend, and design teams to define message protocols, interface behaviors, and seamless user experiences.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, shared libraries, and developer tooling including build systems, testing frameworks, and performance instrumentation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and engineering best practices across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience in production-scale environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript with deep understanding of asynchronous browser behavior.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte (preferred), or Vue.
• Strong knowledge of browser internals including rendering pipeline, layout, paint, and compositing optimization.
• Hands-on experience with real-time systems using WebSockets, SSE, or streaming data architectures.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, debugging tools, and frontend profiling techniques.
• Experience designing state management systems with immutable data flows, caching, and delta-based updates.
• Familiarity with modern web APIs (e.g., IntersectionObserver, ResizeObserver, Web Workers, requestAnimationFrame).
• Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend tooling (Vite, Webpack, Playwright, Jest).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills with a systems-thinking mindset.
