Senior Software Engineer

Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in Seattle, WA:
Job Duties: Lead the development and testing of our systems and services. Engage in shaping the
technical architecture of the product. Help translate product requirements into user stories and
technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Mentor
other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team. Write, test, and deploy efficient,
scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Generate ideas for new initiatives and
technologies. Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers.
Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of
experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the
job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of
progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5)
years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java (2 years); (2) Python; (3) RDBMS (4) Agile Software Development; (5)
RESTful Web Services; (6) Kubernetes; (7) Git; and (8) Software Design. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $185,000.00 - $212,750.00 per annum.
