Senior Software Engineer

POSITION: Senior Software Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the backend system for our product. Design distributed systems with microservices architecture running on Kubernetes. Work with Product Managers and Designers for the design and specification of our product. Collaborate with iOS, Android, Web, Machine Learning, and Data engineers to develop new features on our product. Collaborate with QA Engineers to test and deliver the feature with high-quality and high-speed. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges. Write and maintain technical documentation. Manage project requirements, deadlines, and qualities. Mentor software engineers in the same team or Project. Remote work permitted.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday

SALARY: $165,000.42 - $218,500.00 per year

REQUIREMENTS

Main Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or a closely related occupation.
Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:

• Go, PHP, SQL, Kubernetes, and GCP;
• Data structures and algorithms;
• Developing complex software systems scaling to millions of users with production
  quality deployment, monitoring, and reliability;
• Designing, developing, and managing micro services; and
• Software testing and the ability to write testable and proper code.
