As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving the cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical products and services. Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, you'll design scalable, secure, and highly available platform solutions while driving automation and operational excellence across the software development lifecycle. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership, offering the opportunity to influence infrastructure architecture, DevSecOps practices, and platform reliability. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where continuous improvement, mentorship, and innovation are highly valued. If you're passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and enabling high-performing engineering teams, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using modern cloud-native technologies and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, observability platforms, and deployment workflows to improve engineering productivity.
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance platform reliability, performance, availability, networking, and cloud cost efficiency.
  • Lead operational excellence initiatives through monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement.
  • Champion DevSecOps best practices by implementing identity and access management, secrets management, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, and security automation.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues while driving long-term solutions that reduce technical debt and improve system resilience.
  • Partner with software engineering, security, and product teams to align platform architecture with business and operational goals.
  • Create technical documentation, operational playbooks, and internal resources while mentoring engineers and promoting DevOps standards across the organization.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support production environments and ensure reliable service delivery.
  • Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or software engineering roles.
    • Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure and automation solutions in production environments.
    • Strong expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.
    • Experience implementing DevSecOps principles, including IAM, network security, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
    • Solid background supporting highly available, secure, and scalable cloud-based production systems.
    • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, system reliability, and continuous operational improvement.
    • Proficiency with Linux systems, Git, command-line tools, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, provide technical leadership, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $175,000, depending on experience, skills, and location.
      • Fully remote position based in the United States.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
      • Virtual healthcare services and mental health support, including Employee Assistance Program (EAP) resources.
      • Flexible paid time off, including volunteer days, mental health days, and 14 company-wide paid holidays.
      • Paid parental leave available for all parents, including adoptive parents.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching and immediate vesting.
      • Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and commuter benefits.
      • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D coverage, disability insurance, accident insurance, and optional pet insurance.
