Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Identify technical solutions for product requirements and user stories, to deliver highly
available and scalable services in a production environment. Participate in code and design reviews, and
to generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies; all specifically related to the Java/Kotlin
microservices components within the Affiliates team in the company. Utilize knowledge of fundamentals
concepts of Computer Science, like object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms, plus
specific experience in Java/Kotlin, relational databases, object-relational mapping, and full-stack
programming. Utilize knowledge and experience in Java, REST API, Relational Database, Utilizing testing
frameworks, Software Development Life Cycle, Distributed Streaming Platform, Docker and Kubernetes,
Spring Boot, Cloud Infrastructure, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, and Cloud
Services. Deliver resilient and scalable code in a production environment. Own and ideate technical
solutions for product requirements and user stories with minimal supervision. Participate heavily in code
and design reviews. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies; all specifically related to the
Java/Kotlin microservices architecture components within the Affiliates team in the company.
Collaborate and represent engineering concepts and efforts with outside stakeholders in product
marketing, operations, business, legal, and compliance. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Masterās degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or
closely related quantitative discipline and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation
in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements (at least one year of experience in each of the following): (1) Java; (2) REST
API; (3) Relational Database; (4) Utilizing testing frameworks; (5) Software Development Life Cycle; (6)
Docker and Kubernetes; (7) Cloud Infrastructure; (8) Continuous Integration and Continuous
Deployment and (9) Cloud Services. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience
is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $183,340.00 - $210,841.00 per annum
