Senior Software Engineer

Note: This is a hybrid position. You will need to live in the Greater Pittsburgh area or be willing to relocate.
Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Technology Services group and contribute to several projects that are critical to the company's success.

About the Position: The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality, production-grade application software in the healthcare domain that meets or exceeds customer expectations. The role will work with different portfolio companies - all of which are patient-facing applications aimed at improving healthcare delivery. The projects will involve a lot of variety, and the candidate will need to be comfortable pivoting based on the needs of the company.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university, or has acquired core software development skills and knowledge via practical experience is preferred

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java, C#, and/or Ruby

• Experience with cloud native solutions design (AWS, Google, Azure, etc.)

• Experience using, developing, and managing for MacOS, Linux, UNIX, and/or Microsoft Windows systems.

• Understanding of Health Care IT industry

• Relevant certifications to the skillset and responsibilities preferred (e.g. AWS/ Azure/ Kubernetes /Agile /SDLC /etc. certifications)
