Senior Software Engineer

Torch Technologies is seeking a Software Developer to join a team creating software for aviation health and usage monitoring, diagnostics, and prognostics. The position will require the development of graphical user interfaces (GUI)s, data processing routines, analytical algorithms, database design and automation. Experience developing Microsoft Windows-based software using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and the MVVM design pattern is strongly desired. Experience developing Web sites using modern web technologiesis a plus. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop new software using C# and Structured Query Language (SQL). Prior experience working on a CMMI Level-3 or higher certified program, familiarity with agile software development, and experience with Team Foundation Server is required . Qualified applicants will have good programming skills, be able to work independently, and take a proactive role to assure that task responsibilities are completed on schedule.

Job Requirements

Candidate should have a minimum of ten (10) years' experience and a Bachelors' degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or another technical discipline from an accredited university. Position requires that candidate be a US citizen and possess an active Secret security clearance to access classified information.
