Come join ERP Architecture as a Senior Software Engineer! The Enterprise Architecture team is helping turn ERP products into a multi-tenant, CI-CD cloud products in AWS. We expect there will be a lot to learn and will help train and onboard the successful candidate to our products and frameworks and how we do things in the cloud. You will get to work with our Architects and with other ERP dev teams. Our mission is to build a great team dynamic that is high performing and helpful to others as we transition our products to the cloud.

This position will initially be responsible for the technical roadmap of the Access projects (Employee, Resident, & Vendor) and will also contribute to those where possible. A successful candidate will eventually branch out to other Tyler Integration Cloud apps.

That includes designing great code and frameworks that work well in the cloud, helping to bring along our suite of products and providing training and assistance to other teams. The Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate will be interested in being part of a high performing team and bringing their gifts and energy to the team dynamic.

• You are calm in high-pressure situations and skilled at triaging situations.
• Self-motivating and exhibits high levels of ownership.

• 4+ years of cloud-focused experience as a devops engineer, software engineer, or similar discipline on AWS.
• Strong RESTful knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Tyler Cloud Platform & product patterns.
• Experience with common technologies such as git and Docker is preferred.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes including technical components such as GitHub Actions and Harness Deployment Pipelines.
• Experience with LocalStack is a plus
• Experience with Terraform is a plus.
• You have working knowledge of traditional RDBMS and NoSQL database technologies, including PostgreSQL and DynamoDb.
• You are interested in working with engineers to help scale and optimize their services.
• Familiarity with Linux, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, Angular, and REST APIs is beneficial
• Experience with automated tests, continuous deployment, and test-driven development is beneficial

On a Typical Day, You Might

• Attend technical meetings about where we are headed and distill that information into action items for the Access applications to act on.
• Work closely with the Architecture team on existing patterns and practices and then evaluate the Access applications for conformance, creating tasks in areas that need adjustments.
• Work closely with the Access product teams to ensure a complete understanding of the products and how they work so you can represent them appropriately in larger discussions with Corp Dev or the Architecture team.
• Help with executing on some of the tasks created to ensure critical items such as security vulnerabilities, end-of-life frameworks or other tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Facilitate and participate in code reviews for the teams.
