Senior Software Engineer

What is this role about?

We are seeking Senior Software Engineer for our Spend team. As a member of our Spend product engineering team, you will be responsible for developments related to our core lending domain, participate in geographical expansion projects as well and maintain system stability. Whether that is by building new features, fine-tuning performance and memory usage, integrating 3rd party services, extensively using asynchronous programming, or breaking up the monolithic backend into containerized microservices. We trust you to take ownership of your team's area and work with other product engineering teams to maintain consistency and share knowledge. We are building and improving products using mainly C#, .NET, .NET core, Docker and ASP.NET.

This is a hybrid role that requires the candidate to be located in Estonia. Do note that we're not able to offer relocation or remote work for this position.

• Distributed systems
• Messaging architecture
• Microservices
• Azure Cloud and Kubernetes
• REST API-s
• Monolith

This role is perfect for you if you are:

• Someone who excels in problem-solving
• An engineer who wants to be involved in the entire lifecycle of the product
• Experienced in strongly typed languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, or similar. Preferably in C#, .NET, .NET Core, Docker, or ASP.NET.
• Responsible and interested in taking ownership
• Proactive and forward-looking
• Excellent in communicating in English, both verbally and written
• You have previous experience in fintech/loan business systems developments (this will be considered as an advantage)
• You have full-stack experience (considered as an advantage)
